World Internet Summit:Review

The World Internet Summit was in fact a surprise for me in many ways when I went to Melbourne in March last year.

Before I went that it was a ’sell-fest’,I’d heard from someone,so I was ready and armed. What I was surprised about was that not only is it made for the person on the street, it had a wealth of presenters who are ready to help you make money via the internet and all this was also combined with some non-internet smart thinking. Topics such as, how to focus on one thing to maximise your effectiveness, ‘mind mapping’, working with mentors and much more.

In fact,on the last day,I was sitting next to a guy whose name is John, said that he’d missed some of the speakers, because he wanted to put some of the principles into practice straight away. What he said is that he had earned $10,000 just by doing what they had said by the end of the weekend! – A nice surprise for his sick wife who could not make it.

Now every summit is different, but the wealth of presenters Brett and Tom put together was staggering. For example I saw:

Tom Hua

One of the true pioneers in the interent business spoke about the key to a successful internet business from his humble beginnings which was an inspiring story, which shows anyone can do this
